FREDDIE MAC AND FANNIE MAE HAVE SUSPENDED FORECLOSURE from November 26 to January 9, due to the holiday season. So, there's still some extra time to determine what options there are, if any, to stop a home from foreclosing. Options could include:
1) Short Sale
2) Modifying Mortgage Loan Terms and Conditions
The last choice any homeowner wants is foreclosure. Hopefully you're not on the brink of that category, but in case you are, see what other alternatives you may be qualified for, like the two options that I previously mentioned.
